I was going through the parts checklist for my analog chorus kit and I noticed that there is something a bit off about one of the capacitors. Can it be used in this condition or should I replace it?

Quite sure that's purely a cosmetic defect from the application of the color coating on the outside of the cap, but you can always check it with your multimeter, assuming that it has a capacitance setting (-||- symbol).

Thank you for sharing the symbol for capacitance. I really am a greenhorn & finding my way. I was more concerned that the magic smoke might leave through the hole as soon as I got it fired up, that and this is not a capacitor that I can source locally. Already got a new footswitch coming in the next few days (for my Mouse issue).

Thanks for your feedback, I hope I’m not flooding this forum, but I want to keep up with those casino a-holes. Cheers!
