Post subject: When my Shin Ei wasn’t

So i recently opened up a pedal I thought was my Shin Ei, it was labeled to, didn’t sound like one either. Ooops, it was a LesLouis inside once I verified build to schematic. So that’s that, I turned my Son onto Jesus and the Mary Chain and he loved that sound. I have two Aion Constellation boards coming, Y-2 based with mid scoop and volume boost. Now I’ve been digging the net, hfe around 170-250 on some builds I’ve read, not sure which order I should put(lowest first?) I dug around and I have BC 108’s,BC109’s,2n222’s and an AC187 in TO-18 still. All from 145-240 hfe. Any input would be greatly appreciated

So a little more research and I seem to see build used 2SC536F NPN transistors, going through one of my sources that I comes up with the amp building from time to time I was able to grab some nice gold leg Sanyos

Weather is down right snowy and nasty here outside Buffalo so I’m gonna try and bread board with what I got. Maybe come up with something
