I'm working on a project I want to put in an old Boss BF-2 enclosure. I want to use the original Boss footswitch, so I'm working on using a bistable multivibrator (i.e. flip flop circuit) for switching, but making it true bypass. I have three 2SK30AY FETs which Boss sometimes uses.

Has anyone tried this? I'm trying to find out if there are any quirks or pitfalls with doing that.
