Well after a really long time and a lot of work I present to you the first working digital foot controller! This thing no lie has taken on the order of months to get working! However I feel that the end result is deff worth it! I am REALLY proud of how this turned out. All I have left to do is finish programming the code for the LED's and it will be shipped out to its new owner. Before then however I hope to get some new (better) photos. I also hope to make take some video of it in action! Let me know what you think guys!

Nicely done. You should be proud. Very pro looking build. So when's the kit available? ;)

That's really seriously gorgeous man. I hope in the end, you'll have everything worked out so the next one you build takes a couple days and not a couple months !!!

Now me....being the sick person that I am......I would want different colored leds for different categories of pedals. Maybe blue for overdrive, purple for fuzz, pink for modulation, orange for delay, yellow for reverb....that sorta thing. Oh...wait...how about user changeable LEDs !!! Plug in the color of your choice :)

In all seriousness....the tap dancing I'm now doing with my pedal board(s) now makes something like this much more attractive.

Great looking product....simply awesome.

Yeah the next one will be MUCH easier. I now have all the circuit board kinks worked out. The code is verified and works perfectly and wont need alot of testing. Because of this all I will have to do it wire up the buttons and flash the MCU's. BTW the colored LEDs is a cool idea the only problem is that not everyone will have the same configuration. However when you buy one Ill do any color LEDs you want, even pink!

On a different note, why hasn't anyone made socket able LEDs? Sounds like a good idea to me!

theGeek is using an old rack that I built for him earlier. I had to make a converter box to allow the two different systems to work together. However the new rack hardware is already designed, faceplates cut, so all I would have to do is throw one together :)
