Chorus Bass Mods
On the chorus, there's two particular mods that are really useful for bass. One is to remove low frequency content from the wet signal. You really want the chorus to only affect the high frequency harmonics of your signal. There's a 1uF cap on the left side of the chorus board (below the 5087) that acts as a highpass filter; lower this to something like .033uF or .022uF for a higher shelf on the filter.
The other is the mix pot, which will allow you to adjust how much of this high-passed wet signal to blend into the dry signal. And for bass you should lower the 20k resistor to less than 18k; maybe try 15k or even 12k - this sets the max amount of wet signal, from where the pot blends downwards.
