My rendition of the John Mayer Drive Combo. This was a bundle sale offering a little while back at GuitarPCB.com and I couldn't resist. I saw in a photo or two that J.M. liked a Q-Tron after the Centaur and before the TS so I added a loop. I don't have a Q-Tron so I tried the SWAH in there. Just as cool I'm sure. The pedal starts with the Blues Buster with an added AfterBlast on a stubby toggle switch next the 3PDT for that Glorified Mourning Style Tone. The stubby switch should be short enough to avoid being stomped. The BB has a switch to go either overdrive with a quad set of silicone diodes or a distortion with dual red LEDs. Next in series is the MKC, of course, with the ultra drive mod added using the resistor in parallel option. Very nice. All that to the loop send. The loop return goes to the 3PDT of the Tube Screamer. The TS is set up to have an option to be a like a TS9 or TS10 via toggle. Two favorites of J.M.s. Then into the switchable Mosfet Boost because why not? You need some drive? This should do it for you.

Just reproducing PFF's original post with smaller versions of the photos of his impressive combo pedal that will fit on a single screen of reasonable resolution for our forum members' viewing convenience:

Sounds Killer. It took quite a while to try out all the versatility.
