Hi guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with the Tremolito PCB I bought. The trem works, but it seems to be acting as a light overdrive as well. The other thing is that the depth knob seems to not do much for probably 1/3 of the rotation, then it's good for a short time, then it's like an on/off sound. I checked to make sure that all the resistors, capacitors etc. are correct as well as the hook-up to the pots.
I know it looks like there may be a part or two touching, but I checked closely and they are not.
Note that I did not buy the kit, I bought the PCB and used my own parts on it.
Any help would be appreciated!

Don't see anything obviously wrong. Where did you source the two JFETs from? There are a LOT of fakes out there these days.

I got the two JFETs from BYOC when I ordered the PCB. One of the other transistors came from guitarpedalparts.com and one came from eBay (sketchy, I know). I did plug it in once without that eBay transistor in it just to set the trimpot level and it did the same thing with the overdriving.

Might it make a difference that I used 1/4 watt resistors instead of 1/8 watt?

No.

Check your various bent over components to makes sure that the metal legs are shorting against another metal surface.

I closely inspected it, can't find any shorts. Re-flowed all the solder joints, nothing changed.

Came back to it this morning, all of a sudden it works perfectly! Not sure what happened, maybe I was imagining things. Thanks for the help!
