Good evening! I just completed the analog delay. When I use a 9 volt battery to power the pedal, it works just fine and sounds great. However, when I use a dc power supply, the led comes on but the signal passes through unaltered with no delay. I've tried it both in and out of the enclosure and get the same results. I've attached pics of the board from each side. Let me know if more pics are necessary. Thank you in advance for your help.

Best,
Nick

Check for this very common wiring error: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52139

Thank you for the quick response. It's not clear from the photos, but I believe my wiring on the jack is correct. I'll post picture of the jack. From this angle it looks like the wire coming from the sleeve connection touches the tip connection, but it does not. Thanks!

Do you have a multimeter to check the DC voltage on the right-most + eyelet at the top of the PCB?

Yes! Uh, yeah. It is 13.2 volts. So, it seems my 9v power supply is running a bit high.

Yeah, a bit high but that doesn't usually hurt anything.

What is the DC voltage at pin 8 of the 4558 op amp? That's the one directly across from the square solder pad (pin 1).

With the effect on, it is 12.2 volts. With it off, it is 12.4.

Have you run through the trimpot setting sequence as described on pages 25 - 28 of the instructions while using the P/S?

Do you by any chance have another 9V power supply that you could try?

I will try the bias procedure with the power supply tonight.

I don't have another supply at hand. Any suggestions on a decent economy power supply?

The D'Addario one is 10 bucks and works great in my experience. Available from them directly and also on Amazon and other retailers.

There is no change to the signal when turning the trimpots while the pedal is engaged and powered by the power supply. Still passing the clean signal unaffected.

The 3205 doesn't work on voltages above 9V. You'll need to use a proper power supply.

Thank you! I have a new power supply on the way and confirm the problem is fixed once it arrives.
