hello all,

I just finally got around to building my Tremolito, I love it! It sounds great.

I'm short one enclosure screw, however, and I am absolutely daunted by the variety of screws available on Mouser.

Does anyone know how to get a matching replacement enclosure screw?

Using my calipers I'm around these measurements, but I have no clue if I'm even in the right system (imperial vs. metric): 12.65mm long x ~3.41mm wide, with ~3mm inner core about ~30 tpi.
The manual just says "enclosure screw" and I haven't received a response yet from sales, so I thought to try my luck in a different channel.

Thanks!

I bet sales will get back to you soon, but if you don't want to wait for that…

What I would do is take one of the screws you do have and go into a hardware store to find one that matches. I have found that there are a couple different sizes, depending on who manufactured the enclosure.

I don’t know what country you're in, but in the US, a small local hardware store like an ACE would be better than a home center like Home Depot. Either way, though, you should be able to bring your screw in and test it in a sizer or have a clerk help you find the right one.

Also, I have it on good authority that the contents of your build will be safe with only three screws. Or two. Or even one…

If that doesn’t work for you, I had a member here send me some screws, don’t know if they would work but I could snail mail you a few. PM me if you need.
