Several lessons learned. In the case of mini enclosures, going forward I will paint & decal the box before installing the PCB. There is No Way I’m taking the back off of this any time soon. Not after all that tucking.

This one I just printed off a few wee things, stuck them on, taped up the pots etc… quick shot of lacquer.

My goodness this has a great sound. Even more fun going into a drive (tightens it up a bit).

They are fierce and fearless. All over around here. Love their grit.

The chickadees are *always* the first to discover that I have put out the birdfeeder again for the winter.

Along with the titmice, nuthatches and downy woodpeckers at my feeder.

The eagles, osprey & kestrels etc… also knew when I put out seed. They fed at the feeder, on wee birds. I stopped filling the feeder when I saw a nuthatch get snapped up while I was a foot away.

Hey, they have to eat, too. Just how nature works.

Speaking of raptors, we have a grassland area north of us around Ft. Edward NY that gets a lot of wintering hawks & owls that feed on the plentiful mice & voles in the fields. In addition to the usual varieties common to this area year-round, we get Northern Harriers, Rough-legged Hawks and (my favorite) Short-eared Owls up there. A couple of years back, they had three different Snowy Owls wintering in that area (see photo below, taken by a local avid bird photographer). Cool stuff!

Great capture! You don’t have to tell a TOOL fan that life feeds on life…

Cheers!

I find it's much easier to solder the jumper wires onto the jacks/power/pots first, then get them onto the PCB, just get some very small pliers and make sure the ends of the wires are tinned.

Don’t know when I’m going to do another mini, but I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.
