Hi - I'm looking for the instructions for the old two-knob compressor. The archive shows a newer version from 2010. I guess mine would have been from a couple of years before that. If anyone has a link or a doc I would be very grateful. I'm trying to troubleshoot an old pedal. Quick shot of PCB in case this aids identification

TIA

Matt

That version predates our archives. The schematic for the current classic compressor is the same. If you need a wiring diagram that's applicable to that PCB, the older instructions for the Lazy Sprocket should work just as well.

Yeah, the instructions for this version are in HTML files somewhere. I mean, I can package them, but I think some of the elements were dependent on the old host, so there will be things missing. Any questions that you have about the wiring or circuit after checking the places mentioned, just ask here. We have plenty of people in the forum that can help get you on your way.

Thanks for these - I followed the wiring diagram for the lazy sprocket, however, the SW2 pad is unused in that pedal. I'm not sure where to put the wire I have left over or if it is necessary. It looks like it is tied to it's neighbour pad marked jack, which in turn goes to pin 2 on the switch.

FWIW I have power to the LED, but no sound. There is sound in bypass. Pic below, cheers for any advice.

I found these old instructions on the WaybackMachine web archive.

https://web.archive.org/web/20060219125220/http://buildyourownclone.com/rossinstructions.html

It doesn't have all the pics but the instructions but these links on the site have the wiring instructions.

V. Wiring
A. Steps 1-4
B. Steps 5-8
